This is the halfway point of our project adventure in Bulgaria. This day, like the previous ones, was also full of excitement and attractive activities as part of our project. The day began with a visit to a biofarm, where students learned the secrets of organic cultivation of vegetables, fruits and herbs. Then, in international Polish-Estonian-Turkish-Bulgarian groups, they prepared dishes using vegetables and fruits under the watchful eye of the owner of the biofarm and Bulgarian teachers. While working, the students had to demonstrate not only their culinary skills but also their ability to work under time pressure in a diverse international environment. They all did a great job, as can be seen in the photos. The prepared dishes were extremely colorful and… above all, delicious! The teacher, in turn, on the initiative of the Director of the partner school Mr. Nikolay Radulov, held an extremely interesting meeting with local district officials, who were represented by Ms. Daniela Raycheva. During the meeting, the teachers learned about the Bulgarian education system, discussed similarities and differences between the Bulgarian, Turkish, Polish and Estonian education systems, and shared good practices. The meeting was extremely inspiring for all teachers. At the end of the day, the teachers met at the Cyril and Methodius Elementary School No. 176 in Negovan to discuss lesson plans on healthy lifestyles used in their schools and the students, at the same time, spent a pleasant afternoon with the families of their Bulgarian colleagues.
